What we refer to as the history of the Church today is a record of the exploit done by some ordinary men and women who believed God and the Bible enough to attempt some great things for God in their little corners! To have your name written in God’s Guinness book of record, you do not need to turn a super-human overnight. All
you need do is to attempt something great for God in your little corner and capacity. Simply put, when you win a soul for Christ in your neighborhood or in a village not far from the city where you live, the whole of Heaven burst in to joy. Why? Your humble action has depopulated hell further. If you put a missionary or a mission organization on a regular financial support, you are making a positive impact in the ministry of that individual or organization and whatever that missionary accomplished as a result, you are the secret behind it. Eternity will surely reward your efforts and your impact.
THE DIVINE OUTLETS FOR MAKING IMPACTS.
- Prayer for the nations. Ezekiel 22.29-31, Matthew 9.38
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. – Ephesians 2.10 - Preaching of the Gospel – Romans 1.16, 1 Thess. 1.9 and Planting of Churches – Matthew 28.20 (NIV, LB,RSV)
- Participation in various aspect of mission work Ezra. 1. 1-4 (Supporting with finances, intercession, materials and rendering various services like Art work, logistics, admin etc.
This year, will some people escape hell because you acted?
Will more missionaries go to mission fields because you gave financially?
Will more missionaries be sustained in the mission field because you prayed?
Make up your mind to make impact in whatever little/big way you can and you will see your life changing history globally.
Remember, the value of your life is computed, not by its duration, but by its donation.
